Nathan Miller

I’m an author, public speaker & documentary filmmaker from East London. Following the release of my debut book “Impressing Employers” I began sharing my story with young people across the city through talks in colleges and schools. I’ve always had a fascination with entrepreneurism, I’ve spent a lot of time interviewing entrepreneurs around the world from Los Angeles to London for my “Blueprint” series (unreleased). I saved up some money and picked up my first camera (Canon 7d) and I got to work on some video projects. My career as a documentary filmmaker begun in 2015 when I released my first documentary “Prologue” via Youtube. It garnered some attention, notably from Ace Hotel (which I was working at, at the time) and led to me doing a 5 episode documentary series for them called Inside Ace – which saw me tell stories across their properties ranging from London, New York, LA, New Orleans and Palm Springs.

My career as a documentary filmmaker begun in 2015 when I released my first documentary “Prologue” via Youtube. The 7 minute short shadowed three prospective musicians on their journey to become great. It garnered some media attention, notably from Ace Hotel (which I was working at, at the time). This led to a pilot episode of a documentary series we would later create. The pilot was a success and I did a 5 episode documentary series called Inside Ace – which saw me tell stories across their properties from London, New York, Downtown LA, New Orleans and Palm Springs.

In between filming the Inside Ace Series I filmed and released my 2nd official documentary titled “Ciph.” Ciph was a 20-minute short documentary telling legendary Roc Nation DJ Cipha Sounds’ story, this project was filmed in New York and featured the Hot 97 crew and had cameos from Fat Joe to Flatbush Zombies. When I returned to London I began to work on my biggest piece to date “LDN” which explored the underbelly of the London music scene. Released on the 18th April 2017, it proved to be a hit bringing in over 200 thousand views in the first week.
